Everything you need to get a simple WordPress website up and running. We will cover hosting, WordPress installation, theme selection and installation, plugin selection and installation, building out your pages and posts, and making your site live.

Let’s face it, eCommerce is complicated. Even a platform like WooCommerce, which enables you to build anything you can dream up, can seem like a mountain to climb when you’re first getting started. In this workshop, we’ll walk you through setting up a WooCommerce store from scratch and discuss everything from third party integrations to creative uses of WooCommerce.

I am a writer, not a designer and really only need to know how to use WordPress. Is this workshop 101/102 for me or is this more for an administrator/programmer/getting WordPress up and running? The WordPress 101 Workshops will likely dive into a deeper understanding of how WordPress works, from a developer/admin standpoint. However, we think that there will also be quite a lot of information covered that will give you as a user a general overview of how to work with the software, and greatly improve your day-to-day experiences working with WordPress. 🙂 See you soon!
